Fujimoto Sensei was the Japanese National Karate Coach in the 80's and is famous for his Tameshiwari (breaking) techniques . The style has core principles around efficiency and "No Loss", and has great depths in Kata (Form) instruction as well as the applicable Bunkai (Analysis & Application) of those Kata.
There is a progressive program of Kumite (Sparring) and a structured self defence element in each grade of the curriculum.
Traditional Karate is low impact and the training can be enjoyed right throughout your life from the age of 13 to 80. Many Okinawan Masters still train in their 80's and are active, fit and strong.
